TFRK – Product Components & Uses
1. TFRK-Loop (TFRK-L: Yoshi Loop)
- Purpose: Retrieve broken files longer than 4.5mm or files that don’t dislodge with ultrasonics.
- Features:
- Adjustable loop size
- Replaceable loop cannula
- Two wire sizes: 0.12mm & 0.08mm
- Microtube diameter: 0.5mm; length: 23mm
- Can be pre-cut for canal placement
2. TFRK-Micro Explorer (TFRK-ME)
- Material: Stainless steel
- Tip: 0.1mm spear-shaped, smooth
- Function:
- Bypass ledged canals
- Locate broken files or canal pathways
- Precurvable to match canal anatomy
3. TFRK-Gutta-Percha Removal (TFRK-GPR)
- Tip Shape: Delta cone (max 0.35mm)
- Use:
- Remove gutta-percha filling remnants
- Clean debris or necrotic tissues from narrow spaces
4. Martensitic NiTi Rotary File (K-Endo K6 N60 2% L25)
- Specs: 60%, 2% taper
- Temperature: Martensitic phase at 37°C
- Use:
- Enlarge canal if curvature >15° or file coronal diameter >0.45mm
- Operates at 500 rpm counterclockwise
5. Modified Gates Glidden Drill #3 (MGG #3)
- Tip Diameter: 0.45mm
- Use:
- Funnel-shaped canal enlargement
- Operates at 2500 rpm clockwise with brushing motion
6. TFRK-Micro Trephine Bur (TFRK-MT)
- Inner Diameter: 0.5mm; Outer: 0.8mm
- Use:
- Expose 1mm portion of broken file
- Operates at 600 rpm counterclockwise with short in/out motion
7. Broken File Removal Tips (E87, E88, E89)
- TFRK-Katana V (E88): Vertical tip for 90° semicircular groove
- TFRK-Katana H (E89): Horizontal version
- TFRK-Straight (E87): Sharp cone tip for:
- Extending 90° groove to 180°
- Removing broken files
- Creating space for GPR introduction
- Cleaning debris and isthmus areas
8. Polishing Tool – Brownie Point (TFRK-P)
- Use: Sharpening ultrasonic tips and enhancing sharpness
